I took inspiration from my Netflix Binge. If you haven't watched Survival of the Thickest on Netflix, you should.
Mavis Beaumont is a size-inclusive NYC stylist who wants to make it big in the fashion world. She suffers a devastating breakup and decides to live her messy single life on her own terms. Nothing's going to stop her from becoming a boss bitch.
BRAND IDENTITY:
ASPIRING STYLIST
BRAND VIBE: BOLD, Avant Garde,
BRAND TONE/VOICE: ASSERTIVE & PLAYFUL
Color Palette is inspired by her vibrant personality but also keeps it sophisticated for the growth she wants to see in her business.
The primary logo has typography that includes whimsical elements but again is also elevated like a household fashion brand. It celebrates who she is but doesn't take away from how serious she feels about her clientele and fashion.
The Secondary Logo I wanted to be vertical but include the MB brand mark that could stand alone and a plainer less whimsical version of Mavis Beaumont.
The Alternative Logo includes what she does but with the brand mark that could fit on elements like mugs, t-shirts, etc.
Overall this was a fun passion project to do & i CAN'T
